I hope someone can help me identify a loose plug on my '04 L3130. At the base of the ROPS on the right-hand-side is a small wiring harness with a grey modular plug at the end. It is just sitting on the platform near the seat. Any idea what this is? Electrical connection for a cab perhaps? Is it switched with the ignition? Amperage? Too many questions? ;)
Thanks!
-Brian

Could it be a factory harness for optional ROPS-mounted work lights? ....

If it is a single load plug, good chance it is for the rear work lights. Found a similar plug on my B7800, right side, behind the seat, and turned out to be the rear work light plug. It was a pleasant surprise. ....

I noticed the same plug on my new L3130. As near as I can tell from the schematic, it is for the work light. I am disappointed in the Kubota schematics, I am used to following the GMC schematics where the circuits are numbered and therefore easier to find each of the end points and to trace them through. ....

texbaylea, where did you find those schematics? I too and used to mucking around with GM electrical service manuals so I'd love to understand the systems on my l3130.

The schematics are in the last section of the service manual. I paid $82 and change for the manual but I have always found it to be money well spent. I had the manual about 3 weeks before the tractor was finally delivered so knew quite a lot about the tractor when I was able to start using it.
